1st Competition

The Accadians had a great competition last weekend. They brought home a 3rd place in military and dance routines, 2nd places in hip hop and lyrical and a 1st place in kick routine!! Thank you all for your support!!

The 2009-10 Accadians have had a great year. As coaches we are so proud of this group of girls and everything they accomplished throughout the year. In March we had a blast in California at Nationals, a tiring week of tryouts for the new team and finishing the week with our year end showcase (I don't have any pictures :(

We'll get pictures up of our new team of 27 as soon as we get them! We are sad to end our year with this team but excited to begin one with the new team.

Nationals

The Accadians went to Champion Dance & Drill Nationals in Santa Ana California this year. We took 2nd in military, 1st in dance, 2nd in kick and 1st in medium classification! On our down time we went to Disneyland, California Adventure park and the beach.

TRYOUTS

WOW, it is that time again to start getting ready for next years team!!

ACCADIAN TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD MARCH 16TH & 17TH STARTING AT 4:00 P.M. IN THE B.H.S. GYM.

THERE WILL BE A MANDITORY PARENT MEETING HELD ON MARCH 2ND AT 7:00P.M. IN THE B.H.S.MEDIA CENTER.

FOR ALL YOU GIRLS WANTING A HEAD START ON TRYOUTS, WE ARE HOLDING A PRE TRYOUT CLINIC ON MARCH 2ND AT 5:00 IN THE B.H.S. GYM. AT THIS CLINIC YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET THE COACHES AND GET ADVICE FROM THE COACHES AND FROM FORMER TEAM MEMBERS ON WHAT YOU NEED TO WORK ON FOR TRY OUTS!! YOU WILL ALSO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN THE MILITARY SECTION OF THE TRY OUT ROUTINE, AND ONE ACROSS THE FLOOR COMBINATION YOU WILL BE TRYING OUT WITH!!!

ANYONE WANTING TO BE AN ACCADIAN NEXT YEAR DOES NOT WANT TO MISS THIS!!

Competition Season is done

The Accadians had a good season this year. Our team was made up of 10 sophmores, 6 juniors and 4 seniors. But even with such a young and new team we couldn't have been more proud of a group of girls and how far they came.
Here is how our Accadians did this year:

UVU 1st military, 2nd dance, 1st kick

Jordan 3rd military, 5th dance, 1st kick

Alta 3rd military, 2nd dance, 5th kick

Region 1st military, 3rd dance, 3rd kick... 3rd overall

State 4th military, 4th dance, 5th kick... 4th overall (I am going to double check those placings)
